2006-09-24 [raynesprite]: I only just remembered to look over the rules and everything sorry about that
2006-09-24 [shotokan_gal]: I added the theme to this page too now. Don't worry too much ;) hope you can come up with something new!
2006-09-24 [raynesprite]: I already have something in mind ^^
2006-09-24 [Angelic nightmares]: So do I Rayne, my only task is getting it out of my head, and on the paper
2006-09-24 [toycar]: My problem is that i'm lazy. o.o
2006-09-24 [Elegy - gone]: I'm already working on mine, official contest slut that I am =P
2006-09-24 [toycar]: I have an idea, and an initial sketch, the problem is thinking about how looong it will take to colour being the obsessive compulsive photoshopwhore type xD
2006-09-24 [Elegy - gone]: I know, I've seen your images. They must take ages :O
2006-09-24 [toycar]: *twitches* Indeed. It's not so bad...only bad when i feel compelled to finish a picture, when i should sleep, because i have to wake up in...3 hours. Oh... ugh. >.> Lucky i finished the damn picture... finally... I shall go sleep now...night night :)
2006-09-24 [raynesprite]: anyone wanna know my idea? :3 Ive already got it sketched out
2006-09-24 [Kuehne]: wouldn't you rather just surprise us, raynesprite?
2006-09-24 [raynesprite]: yeah I guess...but Im just sooo excited ^.^!! <3<3
2006-09-24 [Blue Highway]: I hope this more or less fits the theme...I was never afraid of monsters and things like that as a child, my mother left a little light on beside my bed :) But the BWP really scared the hell out of me for WEEKS...
2006-09-24 [banu]: That's great [Blue Highway]!You are right, there is no need to have childhood fears:)
2006-09-24 [Blue Highway]: The biggest fear is usually: a too vivid imagination :)
2006-09-24 [banu]: I think it is like that:)But you know my fear:)))
2006-09-25 [Kuehne]: when i was a kid, i had a slightly different twist on a common childhood fear. I had to pay a tribute to the monster under the bed so that it wouldn't eat me at night. I had to feed him or he'd eat me.. lol
2006-09-25 [pixish]: what did you feed him? o_o
*small children from your neighbourhood?
2006-09-25 [toycar]: I was told by my older sister that anyone with green eyes could stay awake all night. That would have been okay, but then she also told me that they eat your toenails and fingernails completely off, so you dont grow any, anymore. I am yet to figure out why that freaked me out so much, but i actually had a doll with green eyes, that i ended up somewhat blending in the sink..dispense
2006-09-25 [Kuehne]: i'm not so sure you want to know, pixie
2006-09-26 [Lady of Lore]: lol, my mom told me there was a ghost that stole your belly button of you didn't cover it while you were sleeping. It's funny to think of now but then it really scared me.
2006-09-27 [Talkris]: I never had the fears. I always supplied them. I used to take real stories, like the ones of Jack the Ripper and such, and twist them to ungodly levels and then tell them to my cousins. Most of them are 17-20 years old now and they're still afraid. *laughs* My aunts have never forgiven me.
2006-09-28 [Kuehne]: i thought genies were good things.. you know, granting wishes and all that. I didn't know they were something that were to be feared.
2006-09-28 [Blue Highway]: Never trust a Genie, unless it's huge and blue, and often seen in the company of a parrot named Lago... ;)
2006-09-28 [banu]: Well,I dont think they are always huge, blue and so funny!!!:)I know some stories about them and they are not funny at all...:)
2006-09-28 [moira hawthorne]: cute [Elegy - gone]... you had a nice big brother.. mine would of been the mommy in my closet!
2006-09-28 [Elegy - gone]: Yeah, he's the best ^_^ he used to sit by my bed and read me stories when I was scared
2006-09-28 [Konobi]: That's awfully cute. I like the eviction notice on the closet door. X3
2006-09-28 [Elegy - gone]: Hehe, that's actually what the whole idea started with =P everything evolved from that eviction notice, so therefore I had to have it in there, even though it wasn't part of the main theme anymore
2006-09-29 [Nocternity S.]: i thought sketches weren't allowed....
2006-09-30 [Corazie]: It's a line drawing, not a sketch... The lines are smooth...
2006-09-30 [Sunrose]: Sketch refers more to a drawing that's unshaded and uncoloured..or unfinished otherwise..
2006-10-01 [Nocternity S.]: oh ok, what about the background? do they all need one?
2006-10-01 [Sunrose]: It would increase your chances to win, but a background isn't a requirement :)
2006-10-03 [Nocternity S.]: oh ok.. then i might enter, 'cause i don't know how to color my drawings on photoshop, i keep reading and taking tutorials but i just dont get it, i might be slow or something... :/
2006-10-03 [Sunrose]: I just looked at the rules again. You have to have some type of background, but you could make it a uni-coloured one :)
2006-10-03 [Elegy - gone]: Hihi *elsker Kaptein Sabeltann* :D
But maybe we should talk in English, official wiki and all that rot =P
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: yeah, we might have to do that:P
but I love Kaptein Sabeltann:P
especially at Kristiansand zoo X)
2006-10-03 [Cia_mar]: *twiddles thumbs*
2006-10-03 [Elegy - gone]: I knooow! It's awesomest! :D I got Pinky's autograph when I was like five :3
2006-10-03 [Elegy - gone]: Sorry, Cia! But we did change language! >.>
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: :o oh my gosh!! I've only got the guy from Elling's :(
And the boat Oo
2006-10-03 [Elegy - gone]: I don't have very many either... I've got, uhm, Pinky... and... Johan Olav Koss! Oooh, and all the members of DDE xP
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: ooooh, DDE :O XP I envy you those... realy.. *cough* I like your entry by the way:D
2006-10-03 [Elegy - gone]: Hehe, yeah, I didn't even want them... but we saw them on Gardemoen once, and my mother was all 'go get their autographs!!!' (she's a fan =P) so my sister and I did... then my mother said she'd take care of them for us, and I haven't seen them since xP
Thank you ^_^ you've probably already made out that I like yours =P
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: I met Wig Wam in stavanger Oo
mwahahaha. mothers can be evil sometimes:D
oh, and Sven Nordin at a resturant nearby my school:P
2006-10-03 [Elegy - gone]: :O Sven Nordin! <3!!
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: :P
he was actually very fat in person Oo
2006-10-03 [Elegy - gone]: Really? :O Well, I suppose it's good to know he's eating well =P
2006-10-03 [iippo]: Good to see that someone else's childhood was ridden with fiction monsters. I was dead afraid of Katla in Brothers Lionheart, and the Groke in Moomin... >_> Plus this little animated advertisement they show in Finland at winter time, warning children from going on the ice of sea/lakes/rive
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: he was just eating pizza <.< loads of it
and Katla still is scary, especially the one in the movie :3
2006-10-03 [Elegy - gone]: I know! Katla is terrifying! I've never understood why that book is called a childrens book anyway, I for one didn't understand all the subtleties before I was waaay older.
2006-10-03 [Cia_mar]: lol....*lost since she has no idea what everyone is going on about*
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: perfectly right. But I love it anyway. I always cry:'(
2006-10-03 [Cia_mar]: guess the language barrier was only a minor obsticle for me...lol
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: haha:P we're talking bout a childrens book called the brothers Lionheart;)
2006-10-03 [Linderel]: [iippo], I was afraid of the Groke, too. Especially during winters, I thought I could see it in the forest when I was waiting at the window for my dad to come home... *shiver* I actually once had a nightmare where I was Moomintroll and running away from her. :P I was told I'd screamed for mum.
Feels funny, now.
2006-10-03 [Atayemi]: Hm, the Groke? I've never heard of that before. :O
2006-10-03 [Linderel]: It was the bogey character in Moomin... Really scary. But later on it's shown that she's more lonely than anything else.
2006-10-03 [-Orion-]: yahh, The Groke was creepy :S
2006-10-03 [Atayemi]: I used to watch that program! :O It was years ago, though. I can't remember the Groke. I'll Google it. :P Awww..:(
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: and those electrik thingys.. But the Groke.. Oo
2006-10-03 [Linderel]: The whole thing was kind of ruined for me when some bright person decided to call me "Moominmamma" - mockingly. Stupid to let it affect me, I know, but I never was good at fending off hurtful words. :P
2006-10-03 [Atayemi]: Awwww, that's mean. :( I'm not..really. I used to get really sensitive in my first years of high school. I'm not too bad now. :P
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: we all got that period:P But if someone called me Moominmamma wouldn't be to happy now either Oo :P
2006-10-03 [Atayemi]: Nor I. :O
2006-10-03 [-Orion-]: I suppose no one would, as endearing as she is.. >_>
2006-10-03 [Linderel]: Well, I'm getting over my, uh, very many years of bad self-esteem. :P
